Snubber can be used for pressure vacuum and compound gauges and material should be selected depending on application. While placing an order, please specify Type, material and thread connection. |

| OVER PRESSURE PROTECTOR (GAUGE SAVER) |

| DESCRIPTION |
| Many applications require the measurement and for evaluation of the lower part of a wide pressure range, or a protection against short pressure peaks which may considerably exceed the operating pressure range. The over pressure protector is used in such applications. Various ranges are available, the desired pressure is easily set. |
| OPERATION |
| When the pressure set with a wrench is attained, the duct leading to the pressure gauge is closed by a piston to protect the gauge against overloads. When the pressure drops again, the piston opens the duct at a pressure of 15 to 25% below the set pressure. |
